01 · Who is responsible

The Adventure Travel Co. is a founding-stage venture operated by its founder, Steyn van Brakel, who is the data controller for anything you share here. When the company's formal legal entity is registered, this page will name it.

02 · What we collect, and why

• The itinerary request form — your name, email, party size, preferred dates, and anything you write in the notes. We use it for exactly one purpose: sending you the itinerary and quote you asked for, and arranging the planning call if you want one. Legal basis: your consent, given by the checkbox.
• Email you send us — kept as ordinary correspondence.
• Analytics — aggregate, cookie-free page statistics (visits, referrers, country). No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiles, nothing tied to your name. If this ever changes — for example if we run ads with conversion measurement — this page changes first, and we'll say so plainly.

03 · What we never do

We don't add you to a mailing list, we don't send campaigns, we don't sell or share your details with anyone except the suppliers needed to run a trip you've actually booked (guide, boat, accommodation — and only what they need).

04 · Where it lives, how long

The site is hosted on Vercel; form submissions are processed by our form provider and land in the founder's mailbox. We keep your details while your enquiry or trip is live, and delete them on request at any time — just reply to any email from us or use the form to ask.

05 · Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. EU/EEA residents have these rights under the GDPR; we honour them for everyone regardless of residence, because it's easier to be decent than to check passports.
